Job description

Job Title: A&P Mechanic

Location: Wichita, KS (Onsite- 5 days a week)

Hire Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented A&P Licensed Mechanic to perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on aircraft systems and components. The ideal candidate must hold a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License and have hands-on experience maintaining commercial, corporate, or military aircraft while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and service aircraft airframe and engine systems
  • Conduct routine inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using technical manuals and testing equipment
  • Repair and replace aircraft components including hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, and electrical systems
  • Complete maintenance records, work orders, and inspection documentation accurately
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and meets quality and regulatory standards
  • Support aircraft modifications, testing, and system upgrades as needed
  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition
Required Qualifications:
  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate degree or Aviation Maintenance certification preferred
  • Minimum [X] years of aircraft maintenance experience
  • Strong understanding of aircraft mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and schematics
  • Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and safety procedures
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and overtime if required
