Everforth ECS is seeking Data Collection Manager to work at a customer site in Falls Church, VA
Note: This position is contingent upon additional funding
Job Description:
Everforth ECS is currently looking for a highly motivated Data Collection Manager to support a government customer. The primary role will be collecting and disseminating Full-Motion Video (FMV) data as requested by government customers for AI/ML developmental programs. The Data Collection Manager will be expected to identify customer requirements, capture those requests to identify FMV fulfilling the requirements, and tracking and maintaining interpersonal custody of collections. The Data Collection Manager will perform low-level maintenance and troubleshooting with Field Service Representatives (FSRs) across the globe ensuring that proper metadata and quality video streams are configured for AI/ML development.
Everforth ECS is seeking a former FMV Collection Manager with 5+ years experience collecting in the collection management career field, working to support the US Government, Allies and Partner countries, military units, subcontracting companies and other government agencies in various CONUS and OCONUS locations. The position requires an in-depth understanding of multiple sensors that provide data modalities such as EO, IR, Radar (Synthetic and Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar), Satellite (Optical, Hyperspectral, Thermal) as well as operations, collections, and data dissemination associated with the stated modalities.
The Data Collection Manager will work closely with a Field Operations Lead and a team of Field Service Representatives who will be supporting both CONUS and OCONUS data collection operations. The candidate must have a knowledge of Department of War (DoW) units, across Combatant Commands (COCOMs) in order to ascertain data collection opportunities as required by the USG. The Data Collection Manager will be responsible to identify new data collection opportunities and ensure data streams are made available to enter into a data collection pipeline for AI/ML development. The Data Collection Manager will work in place onsite co-located with the government customer in Falls Church, Virginia.
Salary Range: $80,000-120,000

  • Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science/Analytics, Computer Science, Business Management, or Library and Information Science and 3+ years of experience OR High School Diploma with 8+ years' experience working as a collection manager, imagery analyst, ISR Tactical Controller, and/or intelligence specialist supporting ISR operations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the DoW Intelligence Community & global ISR operations
  • 4+ years experience collecting in the collection management career field
  • 2+ years experience utilizing feed consolidation tools such as the MI Online, Unified Video Dissemination System (UVDS), VIDEX & ISR collection management tools
  • Understanding of sensor data distribution and how aircraft relay sensor data, via Commercial Ku, Commercial Ka, and/or Wideband Global Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Ka satellites to ground entry points/gateways outside the Line of Site (LoS) footprint
  • Excellent analytical verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to use MS Office applications (Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint) to create high quality customer deliverables
  • Ability to identify and gather relevant information on FMV clips through live mission assessments and post-mission log scraping
  • Adaptable; take ownership of tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to adapt and retain new knowledge
  • Knowledge of and experience with the GEOINT collection process
  • The ability to operate in a fluid, high operational tempo environment; Must demonstrate flexibility and the ability to change directions rapidly when required
  • During high-tempo operations, can relay and articulate information to varying stakeholders across multiple locations and time zones
  • Autonomous self-starter with a passion for analytics, critical thinking and problem solving
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams
  • Experience with the Authority To Operate (ATO) cycle, including experience working at an AOC/CAOC/JAOC
