Pay Rates:
Starting: $20.00
6 Month: $20.75
Top out at progression year 3 at $23.00

Expectations
Plan, manage, control & improve the following processes at Decatur plant: packing and palletizing of finished goods. Appropriate packing of in-process feed (for MET and secondary slitters). Repack finished goods as required
Responsibility
Material Movement and Outbound Process
  • Stage and organize pallets per the run plan
  • Take labels from the roll coming from the production area. Verify the information from the roll and place roll on the specified pallet. Place each label on either end of the pallet end boards
  • Operate the overhead crane to place the palletized roll on the conveyor belt
  • Secure and stretch wrap the roll
  • Scan the roll then print a pallet label and place on finished rolls
  • Scan rolls received in the warehouse (on pack line and thru MHEs)
  • Troubleshoot the pack-line as required or coordinate with maintenance for the same
  • Housekeeping of packing area and pallet shed
  • Managing inventory at point-of-use
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements
  • Able to Bend, twist, sit, squat, kneel, crawl, push and pull
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Able the reach in all directions
  • Able Walk and stand for extended periods of time to cover 12 hour shifts
  • Other physical requirements as needed for job
