About the Opportunity:

Join a leading air medical transport service recognized for its pioneering safety achievements in Meridian, MS. As an IFR Pilot, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering critical air medical transport services with a dedication to safety and efficiency. This position offers a dynamic and rewarding environment, ideal for someone passionate about advancing their piloting career.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute line pilot duties in accordance with General Operations Manual (GOM) standards.

  • Champion and support the Safety Management System, Destination Zero, and other safety initiatives.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe, courteous, and reliable transport services.

  • Engage in community outreach programs and adhere to company policies.

  • Undertake lifting duties to assist with patient and equipment loading and unloading as needed.

  • Perform duties during 24-hour operations with day and night rotations.

Requirements:

  • Hold Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings.

  • Possess a First Class Medical certification.

  • Meet CAMTS requirements.

  • Accumulate a minimum of 2,000 total flight hours, including 1,500 helicopter hours.

  • Log at least 1,000 PIC helicopter hours, including 500 turbine helicopter hours.

  • Complete 100 hours of unaided night operations or 50 hours unaided and 100 hours NVG.

  • Accumulate 75 hours of instrument time (actual and hood).

  • Adhere to the company’s weight restriction policy with an individual weight limit of 235 lbs or less.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Successfully complete the interview process and obtain customer and management approval.

  • Pass a pre-employment physical exam, drug screening, and background check.
