The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Develop CNC programs for complex multi-axis milling operations
  • Select tooling, cutting strategies, and toolpaths using CAD/CAM software
  • Validate programs using simulation software (Vericut)
  • Create tooling lists, setup sheets, and process documentation
  • Analyze and troubleshoot machining issues on the production floor
  • Optimize programs and setup times for continuous improvement
  • Modify existing programs and processes as needed
  • Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
  • Maintain organized work areas using 6S practices
