About the Job

Enabled Energy is seeking a Strategic Partner Manager to build and lead our strategic partner ecosystem.

This is not a traditional sales role and it is not a traditional account management role.

We are looking for someone who can identify, recruit, develop, and grow strategic relationships with organizations that influence our target customers and create opportunities for collaboration. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for strategic partners and will be responsible for establishing the processes, governance, agreements, and engagement structure needed to create successful long-term relationships.

The ideal candidate brings a combination of business development experience, executive relationship management skills, and industry connections.

What You'll Do

Build and Grow Strategic Partnerships

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new strategic partners.
  • Expand and strengthen existing partner relationships.
  • Develop executive-level relationships across partner organizations.
  • Build joint business plans that create measurable growth opportunities.
  • Create long-term partner development strategies.

Potential partner types include:

  • Commercial real estate firms
  • Data center consultants
  • Engineering organizations
  • Owner's representatives
  • Energy and sustainability consultants
  • Strategic advisory firms
  • Industry associations and influencers

Own Partner Relationships

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for all strategic partners.
  • Coordinate communication across sales, delivery, marketing, and executive leadership.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and executive check-ins.
  • Monitor partnership health and proactively address issues.
  • Establish trust and credibility with partner leadership teams.

Build the Partner Program

  • Develop and formalize Enabled Energy's strategic partner program.
  • Create onboarding processes, engagement models, and operating procedures.
  • Establish partner governance and success frameworks.
  • Define partner tiers, expectations, and performance metrics.
  • Build scalable processes that support long-term growth.

Establish Governance and Rules of Engagement

  • Define how opportunities are identified, registered, and managed.
  • Develop account ownership and conflict resolution processes.
  • Create clear expectations for collaboration between partners and Enabled Energy.
  • Work with leadership to develop partnership agreements and commercial frameworks.
  • Ensure consistent execution across all partner relationships.

Generate Pipeline and Support Revenue Growth

  • Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline growth.
  • Coordinate opportunity handoff to the appropriate Business Development representative.
  • Support joint pursuit planning and strategic account development.
  • Facilitate executive introductions and relationship expansion opportunities.
  • Help drive new logo acquisition through partner channels.

Maintain CRM and Reporting Discipline

  • Ensure all partner activities and opportunities are accurately maintained in Dynamics 365.
  • Track partnership performance and revenue contribution.
  • Develop reporting and dashboards that provide visibility into partner performance.
  • Communicate progress, opportunities, and risks to executive leadership.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 12 months, you will:

  • Expand Enabled Energy's strategic partner ecosystem.
  • Create a formal partner program and governance structure.
  • Increase partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline.
  • Establish executive relationships within key partner organizations.
  • Implement consistent business review and reporting processes.
  • Improve visibility and accountability across all partner-driven opportunities.

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in partnerships, strategic alliances, business development, channel management, consulting, or related fields.
  • Proven success developing and growing business relationships.
  • Experience negotiating and managing commercial agreements.
  • Strong executive communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to develop programs, processes, and governance frameworks from the ground up.
  • Experience working across multiple stakeholders and organizational functions.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Dynamics 365 or Salesforce.

Preferred Experience

  • Existing relationships within the data center, mission critical, energy, infrastructure, engineering, or commercial real estate industries.
  • Experience working with strategic partners, consultants, engineering firms, or owner representatives.
  • Experience developing referral, alliance, or partner programs.
  • Understanding of data center operations, energy efficiency, facility infrastructure, reliability, compliance, or capital project environments.
