Job Summary:

We are seeking a high-performing Medical Assistant to join our Orlando team as a Quality Outreach Medical Assistant (QOMA). In this role, you will take ownership of patient outreach, medication adherence, and care coordination to ensure compliance with HEDIS, STAR, and quality measures. You will play a critical role in improving patient outcomes while driving success in our value-based care programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Conduct proactive outreach calls to patients for Annual Wellness Visits, preventive screenings, and chronic care follow-ups.

· Ensure medication adherence by following up on prescription refills, closing medication gaps, and helping patients stay compliant with treatment plans.

· Collaborate with office teams to ensure patients keep scheduled appointments and complete required services.

· Assist with scheduling patients directly to close care gaps and improve compliance.

· Track and close gaps in care using EMR and payer portals; accurately document all outreach.

· Partner with providers and care teams to prioritize high-value quality measures.

· Meet weekly and monthly outreach and gap closure targets.

Qualifications/Education:

· Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) or equivalent.

· 2+ years of experience in a clinical or quality-focused setting (Medicare Advantage experience preferred).

· Knowledge of HEDIS measures, STAR ratings, and medication adherence programs.

· Strong patient engagement and communication skills.

· EMR experience (eClinicalWorks a plus).

· Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
