Fence Outlet is in need of a Warehouse Attendant for our store locations.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour


Major Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Attendant will be responsible for creating and/or assembling all fence parts and pieces into finished fence materials. Additional duties will be assigned by the Warehouse Manager that will include pulling orders in the warehouse for customers when there are no deliveries. The warehouse attendant will perform their job in a way that supports the Company's commitment to safety in the work environment and execute tasks that support the company's mission, vision, and values.

Daily tasks include:

  • Following tasks and working in the Yard - Outside & Warehouse.
  • Follow deliver/pick up instructions from management / front counter personnel upon unloading of equipment, checking for damage to equipment.
  • Loading/unloading material for deliveries
  • Counting of inventory material items - Raw and Finished goods
  • Building/assembly of fencing components/items upon request
  • Refueling of gasoline or diesel, oil, water levels for equipment and forklifts
  • Cleaning and servicing of small air tools, small electric tools, and bulk rental items Occasional repainting of equipment and re-scribing of equipment numbers
  • General safety knowledge and operation of walk-behind and ride-on equipment shop forklifts for moving of stationary and tow-behind equipment
  • Cleaning warehouse and yard by sweeping shop floors, rearranging equipment or using tools/equipment to clean the yard.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Preferred mobile equipment experience (Forklift/Manlifts etc.)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ months of experience in like or similar position
  • Demonstrated initiative and follow-through
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and determine task priorities
  • Organizational skills and ability to follow directions
