YOUR ROLE AS A FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER

We are looking for a professional Food and Beverage Manager to be responsible for managing all F&B operations and for delivering an excellent guest experience. The successful candidate will be able to forecast, plan and manage all F&B orders, staff and finance. The goal is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
  • Plans and organizes Restaurant services while ensuring that the guests are satisfied and accommodated.
  • Able to maintain a friendly yet unobtrusive manner with all guests when greeting them and throughout their dining experience.
  • Able to observe daily conditions of the physical facility and equipment in the Restaurant.
  • Able to prepare staff schedules that allow for appropriate service while controlling labor costs and overtime.
  • Ability to circulate on the outlet floor, continually checking with the guests and the service staff to ensure that everything is to the guests’ satisfaction.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings daily. Participate in ongoing training of Employees to ensure that Employees continue to improve performance.
  • Recognize outstanding performance by service personnel and handle discipline as per standard operating procedures.
  • Complete reports on production, fill out necessary requisitions and control distribution of necessary supplies.
  • Knowledge of business and Management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Carries out Managerial responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Respond quickly and properly in any Restaurant emergency situation.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the Dining Room.
  • Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
  • Due to the industry’s cyclical nature, Employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
  • Upon employment, all Employees are required to fully comply with Mr. C’s rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the facilities. Employees who violate organization rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
  • Provides leadership for Employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
  • Able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely.
  • Knowledge of the menu and beverage list and the ability to communicate clear suggestions to the guests.
  • Knowledge of the city, particularly tourist attractions and the ability to communicate clear directions to these attractions and facilities.
  • Auditory and visual abilities to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
  • Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderated and controlled by facility environmental systems.
  • Able to stand and exert well‑paced mobility for an extended period of time.
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis.
  • Able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, twist, walk, crouch, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks.
  • Manual dexterity required to use and operate all necessary equipment.
  • Talking, hearing and seeing (vision) occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, Supervisors and other Employees.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree preferable or industry training equivalent.

Experience Required: Minimum of 5 year previous Management experience required. Minimum of 2 years of Hospitality experience required.

Licenses or Certificates: Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates or permits.

Grooming: All Employees must maintain a neat, clean and well‑groomed appearance per Mr. C standards.
