Job description

Hope's Outlet in Grand Haven, MI is looking for a Sales Associate to join our mission-minded team. We are located on 1100 Washington Ave. Our ideal candidate is friendly, hard working, reliable and loves to work with people! If you are looking for a position where you can work in a positive team environment AND help your local community, this job could be a great fit for you!

This is a day job; offered only during regular store hours.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting customers and donors
  • Running the cash register and bagging merchandise
  • Cleaning and organizing the store
  • Working with a team of people to accomplish various projects and tasks
  • Daily tagging, stocking and putting away merchandise
  • Maintaining and updating displays
  • Performing other tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Cashier or retail experience preferred, but not required.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to regularly lift and move items weighing 25 lbs. or more. The ability to stand and/or walk on hard floors for extended periods of time.

This is a fast paced job; no day looks exactly the same! Sales Associates are important ambassadors for Hope's Outlet and work on the front lines of our mission field every day.
