OUTDOOR POOL DAYTIME MAINTENANCE
CLOSING DATE: Open until Filled
PAY RANGE: $12.22 - $14.67 (depending on experience)
SCHEDULE: Monday - Saturday: 7:00 am - 12:00 pm
DEPARTMENT: Recreation
JOB SUMMARY
Perform various maintenance and custodial jobs at the Lehi City Outdoor Pool:
  • Some work with hazardous materials and small equipment.
  • Must possess good swimming skills and overall good physical conditioning.
  • On-the-job training is available.
  • Work 4 hours a day Monday-Saturday.
  • Responsible for keeping equipment at the aquatics facility in good running condition.
  • Repair or replace worn-out or broken equipment.
  • Keep the aquatic facilities clean.
  • Work under the direct supervision of the head maintenance person and aquatic managers.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 18 years old.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of mechanical functioning of an aquatic facility preferred or other mechanical experience with the willingness to learn.
  • Physically fit.
  • Proficient swimmer.
  • Good written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees, volunteers, and the public.
  • Pass drug and background check.

Employment in this position is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background and drug test.
