Job description

Your teamโ€™s dynamic:

We are looking for a seasoned Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) expert with deep experience across end-to-end supply chain value streams. You will own the functional design, configuration, and continuous improvement of D365 F&O across three core value streams:

  • Inbound to Outbound โ€” from supplier receipt through warehouse operations to customer shipment
  • Procure to Pay โ€” requisitioning, purchase orders, supplier management, AP automation, lead time management, trade agreements,
  • Build to Forecast โ€” production planning, demand-driven replenishment, inventory optimization

You will be the subject-matter expert bridging business stakeholders and technical teams, driving measurable improvements in order fulfilment velocity, cost, and accuracy.

Your day at a glance:

Order Fulfilment & Warehouse Optimization

  • Streamline the end-to-end order fulfilment cycle โ€” from sales order creation through pick-pack-ship โ€” reducing cycle times and error rates
  • Implement and tune shipping order automation, carrier rate-shopping, and freight management within D365 F&O Transportation Management (TMS)
  • Define and document operational workflows for inbound receipts, cross-docking, inventory transfers, and outbound shipping

EDI & Systems Integration

  • Design and oversee EDI integrations with suppliers, 3PLs, and warehouse partners (850/855/856/810 and equivalents) using D365 Data Management or middleware platforms
  • Collaborate with integration architects on inbound/outbound interface specifications, error handling, and reconciliation processes
  • Support connectivity with logistics platforms, carrier APIs, and external WMS systems

Procure to Pay

  • Configure Procurement & Sourcing module including purchase agreements, vendor catalogues, approval workflows, and three-way matching
  • Automate lead-time management โ€” vendor lead times, safety stock rules, reorder points โ€” to reduce stockouts and excess inventory
  • Streamline accounts payable processes including automated invoice matching, payment journals, and vendor self-service portals

Production & Demand Planning

  • Support Build-to-Forecast scenarios using Production Control, Master Planning (MRP/MPS), and Demand Forecasting modules
  • Configure Bills of Materials (BOMs), routes, production orders, and capacity scheduling
  • Partner with planners on S&OP process improvements supported by D365 Planning Optimization

Project Delivery & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead requirements workshops, process mapping (current-state / future-state), and gap analysis
  • Author functional design documents (FDDs), test scripts (SIT/UAT), and training materials
  • Manage delivery backlog, coordinate with development team on custom solutions, and track defects through resolution
  • Provide hyper care support post go-live and drive continuous improvement cycles

What makes you a great fit:

  • 5+ years of ERP functional experience, with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (Supply Chain track) or equivalent Microsoft AX suite
  • Hands-on configuration expertise across: Transportation Management (TMS / Freight Management), Inventory Management & Product Information Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Production Control, Sales & Marketing (order management)
  • Proven experience delivering full-lifecycle D365 SCM implementations from requirements through go-live at multi-site, multi-entity organizations
  • Experience designing and supporting EDI integrations with suppliers, carriers, and/or warehouse partners
  • Strong command of D365 Data Management (DIXF) for data migration and interface design
  • Demonstrated ability to document functional requirements, write FDDs, and guide development teams
  • Excellent communication skills โ€” able to translate complex system capabilities into plain business language for non-technical stakeholders
  • Eligible to work in Canada without restriction

An asset if you have:

  • Microsoft Certified: MB-335 Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Expert
  • Microsoft Certified: MB-330 Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate
  • Experience with Planning Optimization add-in, or Landed Cost module
  • Exposure to Power BI reporting on D365 SCM datasets
  • Background in software companies with hardware manufacturing or resale operations is a plus
  • Bilingual: English and French will be an asset

Letโ€™s talk perks!

  • Attractive compensation package
  • Training Tuition Reimbursement Program
  • Work-life balance with a flexible working schedule

We know that diverse backgrounds and experiences bring great value to our teams. Even if you don't think you tick all the boxes, we still encourage you to apply - your profile may surprise us!
