Purpose and Scope of Position:
The Logistics and Customer Support Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that products are shipped to customers efficiently, on time, and in line with the company’s quality standards. They play a pivotal role in coordinating, scheduling, and overseeing the distribution and transportation of goods from our facility to their destination.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process incoming orders for outbound shipments.
- Monitor correct prices, minimum quantities, lead times, etc.
- Manage and maintain Frozen product specifications, data synchronization, internal item price management and auditing.
- Work closely with the sales and warehousing teams to prioritize shipments and review daily product needs/shorts report.
- Prepare outbound shipping documents.
- Manage inventory (inbound/outbound/on hand) at offsite storage facilities.
- Coordinate the inbound and outbound shipping schedules and monitor dispatch times to ensure timely unloading and/or delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments, including tracking information, costs, and delivery times.
- Resolve any shipping discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas of improvement and recommend solutions.
- Maintain good relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of Frozen business processes.

- Strong understanding of shipping and transportation regulations

- Regularly keeps supervisor informed of progress, issues, and potential problems.
- High degree of flexibility with system, procedural, cultural, managerial, and philosophical changes in the work unit.
- Proficient in the use of modern software and systems, including logistics and shipping software, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in business, logistics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, customer service, or related field
- Additional related experience may substitute for the education requirements
