A 3PL Shipping associate is responsible for coordinating, processing, and monitoring outbound shipments through third-party logistics providers, i.e. UPS, FedEx, etc.; to ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities

• Shipping Operations
• Inventory and Order Management
• Carrier and Vendor Coordination
• Customer Service and Problem Resolution
• Compliance and Documentation
• Reporting and Analysis

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, distribution, or warehouse operations.
• Experience working with Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers and transportation carriers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and logistics management systems.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation, freight terms, and transportation regulations.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong collaboration and relationship management skills.

Typical Work Environment

• Distribution center, warehouse, fulfillment center, or manufacturing facility.
• Frequent interaction with carriers and warehouse personnel.
• May require overtime during peak shipping periods, inventory events, or seasonal demand fluctuations.

Hourly Rate: $24
