Job description

Position Title: Customer Sales Associate
Reports to: General Manager
Status: Hourly
The Customer Sales Associate is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and enhancing the customer in-store experience; The Customer Sales Associate also answers the telephone and helps maintain and organize customer files, store records and promotional materials; ensures showroom appearance meets company standards; participates in outbound telemarketing to existing and potential customers.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Acquire and Maintain Customers
  • Clerical functions, including but not limited to office management and file maintenance
  • Create price tags
  • Customer payments and data entry in VersiRent computer program
  • Greets customers and facilitates in-store sales
  • Inbound/Outbound sales calls
  • Maintain professional appearance
  • Maintains showroom appearance
  • Resolves customer service concerns as they arise
  • Responsible for answering phones
  • All other duties deemed necessary for effective store management

Essential Requirements
  • Answer telephone to company standards; must be able to communicate company products and programs to potential customers over telephone and in-person.
  • Build and maintain files to company standards and policy
  • Intermediate math skills
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Must be able to explain product features and benefits
  • Must be able to explain terms of rental/lease agreement to customer.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in person and over telephone

General Physical Requirements
