The Title:

Warehouse Support Team Member


The Role:
As a Warehouse Associate, you will contribute to CAVA's success, receiving and off-loading truckloads of incoming raw materials, maintaining an organized warehouse, picking and packing ordered and transporting truckloads of finished goods between local facilities.

What You will Do:

Receive incoming deliveries and properly warehouse raw materials.
Maintain cleanliness of docks, dry warehouse and cold storage rooms.
Maintain organization of raw materials and finished good storage locations.
Support minor maintenance of dock and material handling equipment.
Using generated work orders, select raw materials from warehouse locations and deliver to processing floor. Maintain documentation as required.
Pick, pack and palletize outgoing orders and load outbound trucks. Maintain documentation as required.
Safely transport finished goods to partner facilities in refrigerated straight trucks.
Support operations in partner facilities, including overseeing post-process packaging, periodic inventory counts and inbound/outbound product coordination.

The Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience working in a warehouse environment

  • 2+ years experience operating material handling equipment, including forklifts

  • Food manufacturing/warehousing experience preferred.

  • Ability to converse with team members in both English and Spanish preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical dexterity, ability to lift, up to 60lbs.and push/pull pump jacks with up to 2,500 lbs. Weight on.

  • The ability to work in varied environmental conditions (dry, cold)

  • The ability to stand and work on feet for 8 to 10 hours at a time

  • Must be able to identify, assess and observe detail

  • Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively.

  • Ability to squat, kneel, bend and twist

  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

  • Allergens: We prepare products with milk and sesame containing ingredients. Team members must be able to work with these ingredients.
