Job description

This 2nd shift role (Sunday-Thursday, 3:30pm-12mid) contributes to the success of the Outbound department by performing the following functions: packaging, consolidation, special handing, packing list and all other functions relating to Outbound.
Core Accountabilities
  • Fill customer orders accurately for footwear and accessory items according to system generated pick tickets in a timely manner.
  • Check, seal and label cartons for customer satisfaction.
  • Work in consolidation combining multiple products from different areas in the DC into 1 carton for customer shipping.
  • Perform special handling request according to customer specification which include ticketing, removing price tags, re-labeling, banding, special packaging, etc.
  • Work in packing list area labeling and matching up packing list to shipping carton.
  • Assist with the training and development of temporary workforce.
  • Provide and support company safety policies and procedures.
  • Work with peers in other areas to ensure the success of the entire facility and support cross training plans.
  • Provide support to all warehouse functional areas when needed.

Key Requirements
  • Possess High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of distribution or warehouse operations.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Attention to and awareness of ergonomic issues in the workplace.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.

Computer skills: MS Word, Windows, Excel
May be required to perform a wide variety of physical tasks which are generally basic, repetitive, and routine in nature. May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time, in addition to being required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, or pull. May be frequently required to reach with hands and arms, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel small and medium sized components while operating machinery and exerting force or lift up to 70 pounds.
May be called upon to perform physical and quality checks requiring sufficient visual acuity to identify quality flaws and distinguish colors on small components.
This position is not available to be performed in Colorado.
