Job description

Description

The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring products are accurately stored and prepared for delivery. This position is responsible for general and miscellaneous duties around the warehouse to support overall efficiency, cleanliness and safety.


Responsibilities:

  • Rotate stock and monitor product dates to minimize out-of-code inventory.
  • Repack damaged product according to A-B guidelines before end of each shift.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Support inbound and outbound truck operations as needed.
  • Build and stage pallets safely and efficiently as needed.
  • Assist in inventory counts as needed.
  • Attend all required meetings.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques.
  • Perform general and miscellaneous warehouse duties as assigned.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Highschool diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous warehouse, distribution or beverage industry experience preferred
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
  • Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to obtain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification to safely operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack etc.)


Physical Demands:

This role requires regular standing, walking and reaching. Must be able to regularly lift and move products ranging from 25 to 170 pounds, as well as climb, reach, and perform other physical movements necessary to carry out the essential duties of the position. Position requires wearing steel-toed footwear.
