Job description

Position: OTR Tire Technician
Location: Rochester, NY
Pay Range: $23-$28/hr

We're seeking a skilled and dependable OTR Tire Technician to join our team. This full-time role focuses on servicing and maintaining off-the-road (OTR) commercial tires. This position requires operating a mini boom truck and a valid CDL is required.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Experience operating a mini boom truck

  • Experience working with small, large, and industrial OTR tires

  • TIA and ETS certifications are a plus

  • Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License)

  • Clean MVR and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen

  • No DWI convictions in the last 4 years

  • No more than one moving violation or at-fault accident in the last 3 years

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Familiarity with tire tools, diagnostic equipment, lifts, hoists, and jacking equipment

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site and roadside OTR tire service

  • Safely operate a mini boom truck and related equipment

  • Identify and obtain necessary parts and tools for repairs

  • Respond to service calls promptly and professionally

  • Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers

  • Be available for on-call service and occasional night/weekend work
