Develop and maintain strategic carrier relationships supporting domestic US and imports from Canada & Mexico.Complete month end close activities & reporting including shipment activity summaries, GRIR, accruals & open carrier invoices.Define OTM Team responsibilities including optimizing OTM system functionality, enhancements & reporting KPIs as well as carrier EDI setups & maintenance.Develop team structure to support current and future business demandsExecution:Lead Transportation Team in planning & executing shipmentsProvide direct coaching of team members and feedback to OTM team membersSolicit and qualify new carriers; lead onboarding and compliance requirements.Manage carrier cost, capacity, and service performance.Provide 3PL/carrier management, including contract oversight, KPI development, performance reviews, and vendor transitions.Partner with carriers/3PLs and Finance to resolve freight billing discrepancies and support timely payment.
