OT Techs, or Operating Theater Technicians, are healthcare professionals who assist during surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and supporting surgeons and nurses. They ensure that all surgical instruments are available and properly maintained, and may also help position patients and manage surgical supplies. OT Techs play a crucial role in maintaining a sterile environment and supporting the surgical team to ensure patient safety.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an OT Tech?

Familiarity with surgical instruments, sterilization equipment, and patient monitoring systems is vital for the role.
