Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide empathetic patient education remotely are essential soft skills. These competencies ensure effective patient support, accurate remote assessment, and optimal outcomes in virtual ostomy care settings.

An Ostomy Remote is a healthcare professional, often a nurse or specialist, who provides virtual support and education to individuals with ostomies. They assist patients remotely through video calls, phone consultations, or online platforms, helping with stoma care, troubleshooting complications, and providing guidance on lifestyle adjustments.
