The Opportunity

Brascia Builders, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead complex healthcare and commercial construction projects throughout Southern California. This role is ideal for a project leader who understands the demands of occupied facilities, phased construction, client service, technical coordination, and high-accountability project delivery.

You will work closely with Project Engineers, Superintendents, leadership, owners, architects, inspectors, and trade partners to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and with the level of care required in healthcare, education, and active commercial environments.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Lead all aspects of project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, documentation, and client communication.
  • Manage complex healthcare, commercial, education, and occupied-facility projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Coordinate with Project Engineers and Superintendents to build efficient workflows and keep project teams aligned.
  • Oversee submittals, RFIs, schedules, change orders, documentation, and technical project controls.
  • Partner with field leadership to maintain safety, infection control, phasing plans, logistics, and site-specific compliance requirements.
  • Support HCAI / OSHPD-related coordination when applicable, including communication with inspectors and project stakeholders.
  • Use Procore, Bluebeam, and related tools to manage project information and provide clear project visibility.
  • Build trusted relationships with owners, architects, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Anticipate issues early and bring practical solutions before they affect schedule, budget, safety, or client operations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 7–10+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Experience managing complex commercial, healthcare, education, public works, or occupied-facility projects.
  • Strong understanding of project financials, schedules, submittals, RFIs, change management, subcontractor coordination, and closeout.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, active projects, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with construction management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong communication skills with owners, architects, inspectors, subcontractors, field teams, and internal leadership.
  • Willingness to visit active Southern California project sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • HCAI / OSHPD healthcare construction experience in California.
  • Experience working in occupied healthcare facilities, active campuses, or operational commercial environments.
  • Background managing infection control, dust control, shutdowns, phasing, access logistics, and operational continuity.
  • Experience with imaging, MRI, CT, shielded rooms, lead-lined doors, infrastructure upgrades, or technical healthcare buildouts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10–15+ years of project management experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Experience with design-build or progressive design-build projects.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Weekly pay cycle with performance-based bonuses.
  • 401(k) retirement savings program with employer matching.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus life and disability options.
  • Paid time off including holidays, vacation, and sick leave.
  • Tech package including smartphone or tablet and company fuel card.
  • Access to prevailing wage projects and professional manufacturer training.
  • Safety equipment and professional uniforms provided.
