Position Summary
The Department of Pediatrics of the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP) seeks Fetal & Pediatric Echocardiology candidates for a pediatric cardiology faculty position.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Patient care duties including inpatient, outpatient and echocardiography
  • Satellite clinics in the region
  • On-call duties for pediatric & congenital cardiology
  • Teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Academic efforts including original research and QI
  • Imaging QI for Echo
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • MD/DO or foreign equivalent
  • Eligible for licensure in Illinois
  • BC/BE in Pediatric Cardiology
  • 3 years pediatric residency/3years pediatric cardiology fellowship or equivalent
  • Significant experience or formal training in Pediatric & Fetal Echocardiography
  • Pediatric and congenital transesophageal echocardiography
