Job description

Overview JOB SPECIFICS
  • Providing high-quality patient care to the patients of OSF OnCall Urgent Care.
  • Maintaining the consistency and quality of all services provided.
  • Maintaining full and current patient medical records, including reports of all examinations, procedures, and other services performed by the provider or other support staff.
  • Exercising diligence in assisting the OSF CEO in keeping costs of the practice to a minimum while maintaining a high level of quality care for patients.
  • Providing a truly personalized, patient-centric experience to all patients of OSF OnCall Urgent Care.
  • May be required to float between clinics as needed.
  • 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week

  • Full-time, clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $60.39-$68.10. This position is paid hourly.
    • Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Licensed to provide either advanced practice nursing services in the State of Illinois as issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in accordance with the Illinois Nurse Practice Act OR physician assistant services as issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in accordance with the Illinois Physician Assistant Practice Act of 1987.
  • Nurse Practitioners must hold a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification from the National Certification Corporation
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
  • BLS/ACLS Certified.
  • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
  • Provider shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served. Prior experience or fellowship as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant in an urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care setting is preferred but new graduates will be considered.
