Job description

Benefis Health System, a Level II trauma center and regional tertiary referral center in Great Falls, Montana, is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team of 8 orthopedic surgeons and 6 surgical advanced practice providers in a hospital-employed orthopedic practice. Practice Info

  • Join a hospital employed orthopedic practice with a team of 8 orthopedic surgeons and 6 surgical advanced practice providers.
  • Opportunity to join a current orthopedic trauma team (2 MD, 2 APPs) offering full spectrum orthopedic trauma services at one location.
  • Stable, long term orthopedic group includes trauma, total joint revisionists, spine, shoulder, sports med, hand and generalists, + mid-level support.
  • 10 main ORs + onsite ASC, 2 Davinci robots with O-arm and Hana table.
  • 33 bed emergency department with 3 large trauma bays, CT scan staffed 24/7 and 2 board-certified ER physicians on shift at all hours.
  • In house air ambulance program with fixed wing and rotor wing for inbound and outbound transport.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full spectrum orthopedic trauma services.
  • Participate in 24-hour orthopedic trauma coverage.
  • Conduct consults.
  • Manage clinic duties.
  • Utilize dedicated OR trauma block time every week day starting at 12 pm.

Compensation

  • Nationally competitive compensation structures with guaranteed salaries + productivity and performance bonuses.

  • Annual $5,000 CME + $1,000 license/dues - prorated based on FTE.
