Job description

Responsibilities
  • Works under the general supervision of the Practice Manager in performing various clerical and receptionist duties
  • Greet individuals, file, answer the telephone and relay messages to the appropriate individuals
  • Provide information to employees and other individuals as well as answer their questions
  • Establish and maintain confidential employee information on the computer as well as process the new employees in the sign up procedure
Qualifications
  • Ability to read and write well enough to type, edit and proof information on a computer
  • Skills to perform basic arithmetic for preparation of various types of reports
  • Complete knowledge of office procedures
  • Ability to deal effectively with a variety of people that is usually acquired after six months office experience
