About Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital
This 530-bed, Magnet®-designated facility offers a comprehensive array of services to the rapidly growing communities of the northern Detroit suburbs. This center has been ranked as one of Newsweek's "World's Best Hospitals" in addition to earning a place as the #3 hospital and as one of the best in the nation for orthopedics and urological services by U.S. News & World Report. This state-of-the-art center provides advanced specialty and routine care with an emphasis on patient satisfaction and a focus on medical advancement.
Scope of work
Under the direction of the site designate leader, provides coordination and acts as a resource for staff involved in general radiology services. Assigns and monitors the quality and quantity of workflow to ensure timely completion of exams. Ensures that prescribed diagnostic procedures are performed according to departmental policies and imaging standards. Performs diagnostic images and other related duties as necessary, including student clinical instruction and new employee training as appropriate. In the absence of the site designate leader, functions as the department representative. Follows Beaumont philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.
Qualifications
  • Required Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
  • 305 years clinical staff technologist experience preferred, not required.
  • CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
