Job description

Join Rochester Regional Health's growing Orthopedic team and work alongside experienced orthopedic surgeons in a dynamic role that combines clinic, surgery, and inpatient care. This is an excellent opportunity for a Physician Assistant seeking hands-on procedural experience, first-assist opportunities, and the ability to care for patients throughout their entire orthopedic journey.

LOCATION: Rochester General Hospital, Monroe County & Finger Lakes Region
DEPARTMENT: Orthopedics

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage operative and non-operative orthopedic conditions

  • Interpret X-rays and diagnostic studies and develop treatment plans

  • First assist in orthopedic surgical procedures to support high-quality patient care

  • Provide perioperative management, inpatient rounding, and post-operative follow-up

  • Perform office-based procedures, including joint injections and bedside treatments

  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, recovery, and wellness

  • Prescribe medications, order diagnostic testing, and coordinate multidisciplinary care

  • Collaborate with surgeons, therapists, and healthcare team members to optimize outcomes

PAY RANGE: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
