Christ Church Brownsville is a historic Anglican parish with roots dating back to 1759, now entering a new season of renewal and mission. After a period of transition, the congregation has emerged unified, prayerful, and committed to faithful, orthodox ministry, and is seeking a priest called to lead this parish into its next chapter.
This is not a typical parish call.
In many respects, Christ Church represents a church-planting opportunity within a historic setting. We are a group of committed believers with a consecrated space with deep roots, and a community facing real challenges yet rich with opportunity for Gospel-centered ministry.
We are a complementarian parish grounded in the authority of Scripture and the Anglican tradition, seeking a priest who will lead with clarity, humility, and conviction. The right candidate will be both pastor and builder. They are someone energized by long-term investment, relational ministry, and the work of renewal and growth in a smaller parish context.
Brownsville is a historic river town in southwestern Pennsylvania that has experienced economic hardship, yet remains a resilient and relational community with an abiding hope for the future. We believe God has sustained a faithful Anglican witness here for over two centuries and is preparing the way for what comes next.
