Job Summary
We are seeking an Orthodontist to join our team for 1-3 days per week. As an Orthodontist, you will be seeing several patients each day, getting to know their specific medical needs and history, and examining them thoroughly, which can include ordering additional tests. You will also be diagnosing issues, offering treatment plans, and providing any additional follow-up care, including prescribing medicine or making advanced referrals. The ideal candidate has all the necessary state licensing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to explain complex dental procedures and issues to the average patient. Base pay of $1,750 per day 830 am to 530 pm. Hour long lunch 12-1.
Responsibilities 
  • Greet and get to know each patient, learning about their medical and dental history
  • Examine patients, order tests, read x-rays and test results
  • Diagnose patients and offer treatment plans and advice
  • Educate patients in your care on proper oral health
  • Communicate with all staff to ensure everyone is aware of the patient's needs and their care plan
  • Prescribe follow-up care and prescriptions as needed
  • Document all patient care, requirements, and observations to maintain excellent records
Qualifications
  • Must hold Missouri and/or Kansas state dental license
  • Board eligible
  • Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple patients each day
  • Strong organizational skills
