Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Job Description

Prepare dental chairs and clinical areas prior to patient appointments
Assist chairside with wire placement, bonding/debonding, and orthodontic appliance procedures
Take X-rays including panoramic, cephalometric, and CBCT, along with facial and intraoral photos and scans
Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care during treatment
Maintain accurate patient charts and document patient interactions
Sterilize instruments and keep clinical areas clean and organized
Operate 3D printers to fabricate aligners and retainers
Order and manage laboratory appliances and maintain inventory control
Ensure patient chairs and work areas are stocked and organized
Assist with office opening/closing procedures and support marketing and scheduling activities as needed

Salary Range

Full-time $17 - $25 per hour

Shift & Schedule
