About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a critical role in performing different orthodontic procedures with the doctor. You will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing the patient treatment plan and preparing each procedure prior to the patient’s appointment.

  • Educating the patient on the treatment given during their visit.

  • Assisting the Orthodontist chairside in all aspects of treatment.

  • Accurate charting and documentation in the patient’s treatment plan.

  • Creating a comfortable environment for the patients and caregivers

  • Providing patients and families with clear orthodontic care instructions and oral health education.

  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of office policies and clinical procedures.

  • Taking x-rays, digital scans, and photos for patient treatment.

Details:

  • Monday - Friday 7:55AM - 5:00PM

  • Full-Time Position 30-40 hours/week

  • Pay Range: $25 - $33 Hourly

  • Must be able to occasionally commute to all 5 practice locations - Albany, Delmar, Latham, East Greenbush, and Clifton Park

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NYS Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) is preferred

  • Orthodontic assisting experience is beneficial, but not required
