Orthodontic Assistant - $22-27/hr + Medical + 401K + Production Bonus + More!!

We are a fun, fast-paced Orthodontic practice located in Phoenix, AZ and we're seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our amazing team! We are looking for someone who enjoys working with patients of all ages and is passionate about creating confident smiles. We work as a team and are looking for someone who is a team player, self-starter, and brings a positive attitude to work every day. Spanish speaking would be great but not a deal breaker!

We have four locations within a 15-mile radius that you would occasionally need to travel to for this role.

Our ideal candidate has 1+ years of orthodontic assisting experience. However, we are open to experienced dental assistants who are eager to learn orthodontics and grow with our practice!

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM

Orthodontic Assistant duties include:

  • Prepare patients for orthodontic treatment and ensure their comfort
  • Assist the orthodontist during procedures using 4-handed dentistry
  • Take digital scans, photographs, and radiographs
  • Change archwires, ligatures, and elastics as permitted
  • Place and remove orthodontic appliances as allowed by training and state regulations
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment instructions
  • Sterilize instruments according to regulations
  • Maintain treatment rooms, supplies, and patient records
  • Help create a positive and welcoming patient experience

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of orthodontic assisting experience preferred
  • Dental assisting experience required
  • Great with patients and families
