Orthopedic Surgeon Opportunity (2207)

Location: Bay City, Michigan

Position Overview
We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to become part of our thriving practice in Bay City, Michigan. This role involves joining a team of three experienced, board-certified Orthopedic Surgeons along with three advanced practice providers who assist in both clinic and operating room settings. The position entails a substantial workload, including coverage at our satellite facilities in Caro and Bad Axe, Michigan. The call schedule is shared on a 1:5 basis for nights and weekends. Our clinical practice utilizes Cerner EMR, and we have on-site x-ray facilities as well as a dedicated procedure room. Candidates with fellowship training in subspecialties are encouraged to apply, and experience with the Mako robot is advantageous. Applicants must be board eligible or board certified.

Facility Features
Our organization provides a wide range of surgical specialties, including:

• Dedicated orthopedic operating rooms that are spacious and equipped with C-arm X-ray technology and specialty supplies, minimizing infection risks during procedures.

• An orthopedic patient care unit staffed by specially trained nurses known for their efficiency and commitment to post-operative patient care.

• Support services such as a Joint Express Replacement Program, Home Care, and both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation.

Additional privileges will be necessary at our long-term acute care facility, located less than five miles from our main hospital. This 31-bed hospital specializes in the care of patients with complex medical needs requiring extended stays. Our dedicated staff employs a team-based approach to deliver intensive, personalized treatment. The facility is licensed by the Michigan Department of Community Health and accredited by The Joint Commission.
