Orthopaedic Associates of New Orleans (OANO), a well-established and highly respected orthopedic group, is seeking a BE/BC, Fellowship-Trained Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon to join our growing practice in New Orleans, Louisiana. This opportunity offers a strong referral base, excellent clinical support, and a clear pathway to partnership—with general orthopaedic call required with call pay!

Join as an associate physician with a guaranteed base salary for two years, a productivity bonus model, and additional call pay!

Practice and Position Highlights

  • Established Practice: Founded in 1949, OANO has a long-standing reputation for excellence in orthopedic care.
  • Team: Join 7 orthopedic surgeons and 3 physician assistants.
  • Clinical Locations: Two well-equipped clinics in New Orleans and Metairie.
  • Call Responsibilities: General orthopaedic call is required and additionally compensated, on a 1:5 schedule.
    • Call volume is manageable with low-energy cases such as hip fractures, ankle fractures, and distal radius fractures.
    • Physician assistants assist with initial ED consults and post-call support.
  • Subspecialty Support: Includes arthroscopy, joint replacement, spine, sports medicine, hand, shoulder, trauma, and workers' compensation.
  • Hospital Affiliations: Touro Hospital, Ochsner Baptist
