Job description

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations for a food and food processing environment in Macedon, New York. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable managing front-desk communication while keeping administrative records accurate and up to date. The role will contribute to smooth business operations by handling calls, coordinating routine office tasks, and maintaining dependable documentation.
Responsibilities:
• Manage incoming phone calls professionally, direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts, and provide prompt front-office support.
• Perform a range of administrative tasks that help maintain efficient day-to-day office operations.
• Enter and update information in company records with strong attention to accuracy and completeness.
• Welcome visitors and handle reception activities in a courteous and organized manner.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain files, documents, and general office materials for easy access and tracking.
• Support internal teams with scheduling, correspondence, and other routine clerical needs as assigned.• Previous experience in administrative support, office coordination, or a similar business support role.
• Ability to handle inbound calls effectively and communicate clearly with internal and external contacts.
• Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Comfortable performing receptionist and front-desk responsibilities in a detail-oriented setting.
