Job description

Jon Ossoff for Senate is seeking a Volunteer Engagement Manager to support our growing team for the 2026 re-election campaign. This position will report directly to the Special Projects Director and will be primarily responsible for leading the volunteer relational organizing programs on the campaign. The ideal candidate is someone with 2-3 cycles of experience in field or organizing who has a passion for digital organizing tactics.
Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and host action events for the volunteers to get a better understanding of relational organizing tactics.
  • Host regular meetings with volunteers to reach recruitment goals, share social content, and other types of engagement that benefit the campaign.
  • Cultivate stronger relationships with Volunteers through relationship building, identifying and assigning volunteer leadership roles, assigning tasks and incentives, running monthly check-in meetings, etc.
  • Work interdepartmentally to source leads to grow the volunteer recruitment pipeline.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in a field or organizing role on political campaigns
  • Previous experience with Reach strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency in common productivity and data tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar)
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Self-starter mentality with a willingness to take initiative
