Brown & Brown is seeking a Dynamics 365 Developer to join our team in Plano, TX!

The Dynamics 365 Developer is a critical member of the Dynamics Delivery team within Brown & Brown's Retail Software Engineering organization. You will play a crucial role in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of business applications built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality software solutions to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and drive business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, designers, architects, agile evangelists, and other developers, to ensure the successful delivery of products that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices.

How You Will Contribute:

Configure, develop and maintain these components for dynamics delivery

  • Model-driven and canvas apps

  • Plugins and custom controls

  • Power Platform tools including Power BI, Power Automate, Flows and others

  • Unit an integration test within automation framework

Ladder Promotions:

Junior Dynamics 365 Developer:

  • Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and test Dynamics 365 solutions.

  • Implement customizations, configurations, and extensions using C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Power Platform tools under guidance of Senior 365 Developer.

  • Participate in the analysis and troubleshooting of application issues.

  • Learn and grow expertise in the Dynamics 365 platform and related technologies.

Core Dynamics 365 Developer:

  • Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing Dynamics 365 applications.

  • Work with product owners and business analysts to understand and refine requirements.

  • Implement customizations, configurations, and extensions using C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Power Platform tools.

  • Perform unit testing and assist in integration and system testing.

  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

Serving the Organization

  • Lead, train, and coach the organization in Scrum adoption.

  • Help teammates and stakeholders adopt an empirical approach to complex work.

  • Remove barriers between stakeholders and Scrum Squads.

Skills & Experience to be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

  • Curious mindset to experiment and resolve functional and technical issues.

  • Strong problem-solving skills for technology-related issues and complex business scenarios.

  • Must be a hardworking individual who is detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive.

  • Knowledge of C#, .NET, TypeScript, JavaScript or other programming languages.

  • Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions.
