You Are: Microsoft Dynamics Developer
The Work: The Microsoft Dynamics Developer is responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service). In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that enhance business processes, drive transformation, and improve operational efficiency. You will leverage deep expertise in Dynamics 365, the Power Platform, and integration technologies to build secure, maintainable, and compliant enterprise solutions. Your ability to translate business needs into robust technical implementations-and support the full lifecycle of development, deployment, and optimization-will be essential to success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement customizations, plugins, workflows, and integrations within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service)
• Configure Dynamics modules to meet business requirements, including entity creation, form design, views, business rules, and automated processes
• Integrate Dynamics 365 with other enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and middleware (e.g., Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate)
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications and solutions
• Conduct unit testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and manage deployment of customizations and updates
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for Dynamics 365 solutions, including performance tuning and issue resolution
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation for customizations, integrations, and operational processes
• Ensure solutions adhere to Microsoft best practices, compliance requirements, and established security standards
What You Need:
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service)
• Proficiency in Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, and development (JavaScript, C#, .NET, Power Platform)
• Experience with Dynamics 365 APIs, web services, and enterprise integration tools
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business partners
Nice to Have
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Experience with Azure services (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, etc.)
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications
• Experience with data migration and ETL tools and processes
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools that support Dynamics 365 deployments
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Prior experience supporting CRM optimization and service delivery improvements with client stakeholders
• Experience implementing or supporting CRM systems within a federal agency environment
• Knowledge of client operations, policies, and programs, especially customer-facing technology solutions
