POSITION SUMMARYThe Safety & Regulatory Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting Vanguard Soap's commitment to manufacturing safe, compliant, and high-quality products. This position coordinates day-to-day plant safety activities, regulatory documentation, compliance programs, environmental reporting, training administration, and audit readiness while partnering closely with Operations, Maintenance, HR, Quality, and Production.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate daily plant safety activities and routine inspections.Track corrective actions and OSHA compliance activities.Maintain safety signage, OSHA logs, SDS library, and regulatory documentation.Coordinate safety committee meetings, emergency drills, and contractor safety.Support incident investigations and corrective/preventive actions.Maintain document control, SOPs, GMP records, and compliance calendars.Coordinate environmental reporting and waste documentation.Administer safety orientation and annual training records.Prepare documentation for customer, internal, and certification audits (ISO 9001, ISO 22716, RSPO, Organic).Maintain dashboards and compliance metrics.Partner cross-functionally to strengthen safety and regulatory compliance.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's or Associate's degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline preferred.2-3+ years supporting safety, quality, regulatory, or manufacturing operations.Manufacturing experience; CPG, chemical, personal care, food, or pharmaceutical preferred.Working knowledge of OSHA, GMP, and document control.Strong Microsoft Office skills.PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONSOSHA 30 or OSHA 511ASP or CSP (preferred)HAZWOPERFirst Aid / CPRKEY CAPABILITIESHighly organizedAttention to detailStrong follow-throughCollaborativeProactiveProblem solverHigh integrityContinuous improvement mindset
