A Day in the Life as an Equipment Order Specialist
As an Equipment Order Specialist, you'll serve as a key liaison between CLS staff and distributors, ensuring a seamless and customer-focused order experience. Responsibilities include:
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for distributor accounts, ensuring a seamless and positive experience across all customer interactions
  • Partnering closely with the sales team to keep all stakeholders informed on order status and activities for assigned accounts
  • Accurately processing customer equipment orders
  • Responding to customer inquiries regarding availability and product information
  • Providing order follow-up, tracking information, and proactively addressing any order issues
  • Creating and maintaining work orders
  • Managing equipment order backlog
What You Need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer service or related role
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication, and customer service skills
  • Accurate and efficient data entry and basic math skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Detail oriented with strong time management, accuracy, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues at all levels
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with or ability to learn Salesforce, CRM systems, and other business applications
