Job description

Job Title: Order FillerJob Description

The Order Filler supports production by accurately pulling, building, and documenting orders from a smaller stockroom environment within a corporate and manufacturing facility. This role combines hands-on material handling with basic computer and scanning tasks to ensure that all parts and materials are available, correctly recorded, and ready for production on time.

Responsibilities
  • Pull parts and materials from the stockroom based on production orders and requirements.
  • Gather the correct materials, pieces, and parts needed to support ongoing production activities.
  • Lift, move, and organize parts and materials safely and efficiently.
  • Build and assemble the pieces, parts, and complete orders required for production.
  • Scan products in and out using an RF scanner to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Enter and update order information in the internal computer system and perform basic data entry tasks.
  • Document all orders, movements, and transactions clearly and accurately in the system.
  • Assist with packing, packaging, and order picking as needed to support the team.
  • Perform general labor, stocking, and inventory tasks to keep the stockroom organized and well maintained.
  • Use pallet jacks and other warehouse tools, when needed, to move materials safely.
  • Collaborate with a small team in the stockroom and packing area to meet production timelines.
  • Interact professionally with individuals across the facility, including leadership, while working in a corporate and manufacturing environment.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with order picking, packing, and general warehouse or stockroom duties.
  • Ability to use an RF scanner to scan products in and out and track inventory movements.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and use of internal systems.
  • Capability to perform material handling tasks, including lifting and moving parts and materials safely.
  • Familiarity with inventory, stocking, and packaging processes.
  • Ability to use basic warehouse tools such as pallet jacks, when required.
  • Must pass a 3rd-grade reading level test to follow written instructions and document orders accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when pulling, building, and documenting orders.
  • Ability to work effectively on a small team and communicate clearly with coworkers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • No specific education or certificates required.
  • Experience in warehouse distribution, production, or stockroom environments is beneficial.
  • Background in loading, palletizing, or warehouse packing is an advantage.
  • Comfort working with both manual tasks and basic computer-based documentation.
  • Ability to interact professionally in a corporate and manufacturing setting.
Why Work Here?

You join a friendly, close-knit team where collaboration and open communication are encouraged. The smaller team structure allows you to have your own workstation and take ownership of your work, while still receiving support from colleagues. Working within a corporate and manufacturing facility offers exposure to different parts of the business and the opportunity to interact with a variety of professionals. The environment values reliability, accuracy, and teamwork, providing a stable setting where you can build and strengthen your skills in warehousing and production support.

Work Environment

This role is based in a smaller stockroom within a corporate and manufacturing facility, rather than a large warehouse. You will work on a small team of about five people, with approximately four others in the packing area, and you will have your own workstation equipped with a computer. The environment is friendly and allows for conversation while you work, as long as tasks are completed accurately and on time. You may occasionally interact with senior leaders while working in this setting. The work involves hands-on material handling, use of RF scanners, basic computer systems, and standard warehouse tools such as pallet jacks. The position operates on a first-shift schedule in a production-support environment.
