Job description

Salary: $20 - $23 Hourly DOE

Job Title:Warehouse Associate


Must reside within the Greater Richmond Area to apply.


Job Summary: This position will fulfill the following warehouse functions: Forklift Operations and Inventory Control. Furthermore, this position will support Rigger responsibilities as needed, such as rigging loads under75-110 Rough Terrain cranes in the lay-down yard The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Duties:
- Operate lift trucks (primarily Sit-Down Forklifts) to move, stack, or load/unload materials in a safe manner.

- Utilize order picking systems to accurately fulfill orders.

- Conduct routine inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance or safety issues.

- Collect and maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, locations, and movements.

- Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate material handling.

- Utilize e-commerce platforms, such as Smartsheet, to track and analyze inventory data.

- Assisting with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying quantities and checking for damaged goods.

- Rigging loads under 75-100 Rough Terrain cranes in the lay-down yard (as needed).


Experience:
- Must have 3+ years experience safely operating a forklift.
- Knowledge of mechanical principles and basic math skills.
- Familiarity with different types of forklifts,particularly sit-down forklifts.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Excellent data collection, analysis, and reporting skills.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
