Overview

Seacoast, a GCG company, is looking for a Picking Associate to join our team in Chesapeake, VA! In this role, you will be responsible for picking material using RF scanners and forklifts, restocking, and assisting with general inventory duties.

 

This is a great direct-hire opportunity to be part of a collaborative team where your contributions matter!

Hours: 7AM to 4PM Mon-Fri with an hour for lunch

Pay Rate: $20/hr + full benefits 

Location: 3800 Cook Blvd. Chesapeake, VA 23323

What You'll Do

  • Review tickets flagged for potential issues and address issues identified 
  • Pick and pull material listed on tickets, ensuring batch numbers match
  • Use RF scan guns to scan and relocate material 
  • Do put away and scan all material going back to stock from production
  • Log inventory and relocate materials to correct department
  • Cross train and assist with other department duties as needed

What You'll Bring

  • High school education or GED equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of warehouse experience required
  • RF scanner experience preferred
  • At least 1 year of forklift experience required (sit down, order picker, or reach truck)
  • Ability to read measurements and do basic math
  • Computer literacy required
  • Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
