Job description

The Order Selector is responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting, preparing, and staging finished goods for shipment. This role involves operating stand-up order pickers and forklifts, following pick ticket instructions, and ensuring product is securely wrapped and loaded. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential for success in this position.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate stand-up order pickers and forklifts to retrieve products from designated warehouse locations.

  • Follow pick ticket system to select correct quantities and product types for customer orders.

  • Stack and wrap selected items securely for shipment.

  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.

  • Move product throughout the warehouse to staging or designated areas as needed.

  • Maintain accurate order records and ensure orders are complete and damage-free.

  • Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support warehouse operations.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Previous experience operating stand-up order pickers and forklifts preferred (certification required or must be obtained upon hire).

  • Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required.

  • Capable of lifting and moving up to 62 pounds repeatedly throughout a shift.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and lifting.

  • Able to read, understand, and follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain order accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
