Job description

Humano is seeking experienced Case Selectors/Order Pickers for a fast-paced warehouse operation. This position requires previous Riding Pallet Jack and order selecting experience and involves picking cases of product throughout freezer warehouse locations.

Associates will be responsible for accurately selecting and pulling product, using inventory systems and RF scanners, and meeting daily production requirements.

This position is Part-Time with Full-Time Options, with the opportunity for an increase in hours once the workload fully picks up and the client is able to provide a clear and accurate weekly work forecast.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Previous Riding Pallet Jack experience required
  • Previous Order Selecting experience required
  • Previous warehouse inventory experience preferred
  • Ability to accurately locate and select product
  • Ability to work in freezer/cold temperatures for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to repeatedly lift and move cases of product
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Ability to meet production and accuracy expectations
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • RF Scanner experience is a plus
  • Previous freezer order-selecting experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Operating a Riding Pallet Jack safely and efficiently
  • Selecting and pulling warehouse orders
  • Picking approximately 04,000 cases per day, depending on workload and operational requirements
  • Accurately locating product within freezer warehouse locations
  • Using RF scanners and warehouse technology as required
  • Maintaining order accuracy
  • Building and organizing pallets
  • Moving completed orders to designated staging areas
  • Following all warehouse safety procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Working as part of a team to meet daily production goals

Working Environment:

This position requires associates to work inside freezer locations for the duration of their shift.

Temperatures in many freezer locations may range from approximately 0F to -10F.

Candidates must be comfortable working in a cold/freezer environment for extended periods while operating a Riding Pallet Jack and selecting product.
