Summary:


The Order Filler II is responsible for picking orders to carts/pallets in accordance to customer specifications while maintaining quality, accuracy and speed. Comfort at 20 feet of elevation is needed as daily tasks also include movement of material through the warehouse with the use of a counter balance forklift and/or order picker as well as an overhead crane. Entry of material into the computer (via hand held scanners) for tracking along with email will require some basic computer knowledge. The Order Filler II will maintain a safe and clean work area by ensuring they clean their area as needed.


Primary Job Duties:



  • Moves material to various locations within the warehouse.

  • Ensures proper material handling to meet quality standards.

  • Enters material into the computer.

  • Utilizes overhead crane operation

  • Operates (become certified for) a counter balance forklift and order picker.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience operating a counter balance forklift. Will complete sit down/cherry picker power industrial truck training upon hire.
