Job description

Team Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Order Management Specialist to join our collaborative, team-oriented Order Management group. We value partnership, open communication, and supporting one another to achieve shared goals. This is a highly collaborative role where success comes from working together not as individual contributors, but as a cohesive team. This role is critical in managing order workflows, supporting account management, and ensuring seamless communication between internal teams and customers. What You Will Do:
  • Accurately review and process incoming sales orders, including verifying customer details, product configurations, pricing, inventory availability and delivery terms. Conduct peer reviews to ensure accurate order entry
  • Assist in managing inventory locations for efficient organization and retrieval
  • Process and consolidate orders to optimize shipping efficiency
  • Monitor order progress throughout the fulfillment cycle, identifying potential delays, and proactively communicating updates to customers and internal teams
  • Maintain and send weekly backlog reports to customers
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries via SFDC, providing effective support and ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Work closely with sales, product management, operations, logistics, and accounting to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery
  • Manage and route customer inquiries to the appropriate teams for efficient follow-up
  • Maintain accurate order information within the company's order management system
  • Assist in generating reports on order metrics such as backorders, fulfillment times, and sales trends
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures related to order processing and fulfillment
What You Will Bring:
  • Skills and experience commensurate with 2+ years as an Order Management Specialist in a complex environment with increasing responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Proficiency with Order Management Systems (OMS) and ERP platforms
  • Experience working with D365 and Salesforce.com is preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits:

The typical base pay range for this role across the US is $28.60/hr - $43.26/hr. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Both market wage data and the mid-point of the pay range is reviewed and used as the starting point for all new hire offers. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Impinj certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
