Job Summary

Full Time.  $16/hour.

The Order Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for accurately picking, packing, labeling, and conducting final quality control checks for cannabis products prior to shipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliant, efficient, and timely order fulfillment while maintaining the highest standards of product quality and regulatory adherence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Accurately pick products based on order sheets or electronic order management systems.
  • Verify product information including strain, SKU, batch/lot number, and quantity.
  • Safely and securely pack products for delivery using appropriate materials and tamper-evident seals.
  • Apply state-compliant labels to packages, ensuring accuracy and legibility.
  • Conduct final quality control (QC) checks for accuracy, compliance, and packaging integrity.
  • Stage completed orders in the designated shipping area for pickup or delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of fulfilled orders and report discrepancies or damaged product.
  • Follow company SOPs and state regulatory requirements to ensure full compliance.
  • Support warehouse organization, inventory management, and cycle counts as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to pass a background check as required by state regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior fulfillment, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
  • Cannabis industry experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
  • Willingness to follow strict safety, compliance, and PPE guidelines.

Physical and Mental Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 50 lb. Able to stand for 90% of the time. Comfortable with heights, occasionally ascends/descends a ladder to service the lights, filters, trellis netting and ceiling fans up to 25ft. Comfortable working atop and traversing scaffolding, when required. Comfortable with changing environment temperatures and humidity. Exposure to pollen, dust, dander, and other nature elements. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close observation and the ability to adjust focus. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual, with or without reasonable accommodation, to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

Working Environment

Work is performed in a warehouse environment. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and the risk of electrical shock.
